DieselDialogue works when posts are useful, honest and civil. These rules apply to every topic and reply.

Be civil

Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, threats, slurs or personal attacks.

Stay on topic

Post in the category that fits, and keep replies about the topic. Off-topic is for everything else.

Be open about who you are

If you work for, own or are paid by a company you mention, say so in your post. Promotion that hides who is behind it isn't allowed.

No spam

No repeated posts, link dumps or ads. New accounts can't post external links for their first day.

Protect people's privacy

Don't share anyone's personal details, such as phone numbers, addresses or documents.

Keep it legal

No illegal content, stolen equipment, counterfeit documents or anything that breaks the law.

Reporting and moderation

Use “Report” on any post that breaks these rules. Moderators may hide posts, lock topics and suspend or ban accounts. Every moderation action is logged.
